In daily use, the air suspension system has three states:
The first state is the hold state. When the vehicle is lifted off the ground by a hoist, the air suspension system closes the relevant solenoid valves and records the vehicle body height, allowing the vehicle to maintain its original height after landing. The second state is the normal state, which is when the engine is running. During driving, if the vehicle body height changes beyond a certain range, the air suspension system will automatically adjust the vehicle body height at regular intervals.
The third state is the wake-up state. When the air suspension system is activated by the remote key, door switch, or trunk lid switch, the system checks the vehicle body height via the body level sensor. If the vehicle body height is below the normal height by a certain degree, the air reservoir will provide pressure to raise the vehicle body to its normal height.
Additionally, the air suspension system can adjust the firmness of the shock absorbers, including three states: soft, normal, and firm (also referred to as Comfort, Normal, and Sport modes, etc.). Drivers can adjust these settings via the control knob inside the vehicle.
