Definition of Trailing Arm

Trailing-Arm, also known as a trailing arm type, is a suspension system specifically designed for the rear wheels. This system integrates the control arm with a pivot point on the vehicle body located in front of the axle, and with the axle itself. The rotational axis of this body pivot is perpendicular to the vehicle's centerline and extends rearward, forming a trailing arm or full trailing arm suspension system.
