To reach top speed, the following three conditions must be met:
1. Select an appropriate road surface;
2. Shift the vehicle into overdrive. For example, in a 5-speed car, some vehicles have 4th gear as overdrive, while others have 5th gear as overdrive;
3. After shifting into overdrive, press the accelerator pedal to the floor. Theoretically, your car will reach its top speed when the "engine speed" reaches the "RPM corresponding to maximum power".
If you want to test this on a highway, most regular cars can attempt it. However, for supercars, testing should be conducted on a test track or race circuit.
