Aston Martin was previously a British luxury sedan and sports car manufacturing company. Founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford, the company was based in Newport Pagnell, UK, and was world-renowned for producing open-top touring cars, racing cars, and limited-production sports cars. Due to poor management, it was acquired by the American Ford Motor Company in 1987. In 2007, Prodrive boss David Richards purchased Aston Martin from Ford for $925 million. The Aston Martin car logo features a soaring eagle, symbolizing the company's ambition and its ability to achieve incredible speed, like an eagle swooping from the sky. The words 'Aston' and 'Martin' are inscribed separately, indicating a 'sworn brotherhood' among the car companies. Aston Martin Lagonda, famous worldwide for producing open-top touring cars, racing cars, and limited-production sports cars, is highly renowned, and one wonders if this fame is due to the luck brought by this eagle.
